Faith That Works (Part 2)

This powerful message challenges us to move beyond comfortable Christianity and step into a life of radical faith that demands action, sacrifice, and surrender. Drawing from Hebrews 11, it confronts us with the wheelbarrow illustration. This vivid picture of faith asks us to climb in and let God take control, even when we can't see the road ahead.

The central question is striking: are we living on the side of comfort and control, or have we crossed the line into true faith and surrender? Through the examples of Abraham, Moses, and Rahab, we see that genuine faith always costs us something. Abraham was willing to sacrifice his beloved Isaac, Moses walked away from palace luxury to follow God into the wilderness, and Rahab risked everything by hanging a scarlet cord in her window.

These aren't just ancient stories; they are mirrors reflecting what our own faith journey should look like today. True faith is not merely what we believe on Sunday, but how we behave on Monday. It means putting on our "faith gloves" and getting our hands dirty in kingdom work.

We are also reminded that anything we protect from God has actually become a god in our lives. Real faith requires us to live with open hands rather than clenched fists. The final call is clear: it's time to stop being fans of Jesus who sit in the stands, and start being followers who get out on the field.
